Hey Everyone! Take a minute and tell me what you've been reading; not just for school but for your own pleasure, too. What do you think about what you've read?

I've been trying to read new genres, but my favorites are suspense/mystery, and horror books. One book I read during the summer was "13 Reasons Why" by Jay Asher. It was about a serious topic that I've had some experience with in my family, and it was a different type of book that I read, but it was well-written, and I got sucked into the book very easily. It's a very deep book, and aside from some moments that might not be appropriate for school, I completely recommend it.

I think that the book that I read was very interesting and it kept me wanting to read more each chapter. Unlike A lot of books, this book was easy to understand and wasn't boring. I also thought that the book was really exciting and left a lot of questions at the end of each chapter; Which was a main reason why i wanted to keep reading.

The book I read was Twilight. An interesting novel on a vampire and mortal's love. Basically the book I read I found preety interesting like it grabbed my attention. I think it was an amazing fiction book on true love dedicated to vampires and werewolves.

I'm reading both Touching Spirit Bear and Spider-man graphic novel. I find TSB hard to read, because I take too long to read one page. It's not my fault, i keep getting distracted off the book all the time, so I keep having to reread the whole page. I think Spirit Bear is a good book, but if only i could read faster...

The books I read over the summer were Bystander and Jackie's nine. From the minute I picked them up to when I was done with them, I really enjoyed them. This was because the main character in Bystander is about the same age as I am so I could easily put myself in his shoes and understand what he was thinking.

The two books im reading right now are Touching Spirit Bear and the Nightmarys . I didnt read over the summer because i was in Brazil .. But i am loving these books , especially because one of them is my favorit genre , suspense/mistery and mythical creatures . My favorit book of all time was Percy Jackson and The lightning Thieft . Over the summer I read two books, 9th Grade Slays and No More Dead Dogs. Currently I am not reading an outside reading book besides Touching Spirit Bear. At first TBS was very confusing with all of the flashbacks but as I kept on reading everything started to make more sense.

In the occasion of Halloween, I'm reading Frankenstein. I like how it uses science and philosophy in the text to give an educational view of life and death through this classic work of horror and science fiction. I'm also reading Touching Spirit Bear for school and The Battle of the Labyrinth.

I have been reading TSB in class. Its an ok book very intense, but some parts are very gross. its not terrrible but i would probably never read if we didnt read it in class though.

The only books I'm reading right now, is the Bible, and Touching Spirit Bear. At first, I didn't really understand Touching Spirit Bear, so I had to read it over and over until I understood it, and when the flashbacks occurred. A book I read over the summer, was The Second Short Life Of Bree Tanner by Stephenie Meyer. It's an Eclipse Novella, and I would recommend this for people who liked reading the Twilight Saga.

The book that I am reading unless TSB is Heroes of 9/11. This book is a really good it explains everything about what happened on 9/11, the explosions, the towers falling, people in the tower when it fell. I would really recommend this book. This is a book that really caught, it also makes you want to keep on reading and reading and reading.

I just started reading a book called The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan. I really like this book because it's factual but not in a boring way. It's about Roman gods and goddesses. It's the sequel to a book called The Lost Hero.

The book that I am reading is called Touching Spirit Bear. This book is turning out better than I thought it would. It has many surprises and is really suspenseful. The thing I like most about this book is it is very detailed, and you can picture what you are reading. This book makes me want to keep turning the pages. It is a book that I would recommend for anyone to read.

Along with TSB, I am reading the book dawn of the dreadfuls. it is a great book about survival. it's the prequel to pride, prejudice, and zombies. the writing is fantastic and the best part, of course, is the zombies.

I read The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan. The story itself was really good, but I found the switching narrators thing a little annoying because I had to always remember who is talking

Over the summer break I read "Monster" by Walter Dean Myers and "Cross My Heart And Hope To Spy" by Ally Carter. Both of them are great authors. I really did enjoy reading these wonderful books over the summer. For some odd reason I'm just into those books that have to do with crime and the law. I think it's very amusing to me. Right now I'm reading Touching Spirit and "Ruined" by Paula Morris. TSB shocked me because at first when Ms. Sullivan introduce the book to us I thought it was going to be a irksome book to read. I was wrong and I'm adoring it.

I am reading two books at the moment I am reading The Secret Life Of Bees, and I am also reading the final book to the Twilight Saga which is Breaking Dawn. They are two completely diffrent books so reading them at the same time is a little difficult, but I'm managing. Breaking Dawn was the book i was drawn to after I read Eclipse. It is very interesting. The Secret Life Of Bees on the other hand is one of the other had is one of those books that I thougt i wasn't going to like at all until I actually got into it and now its a really interesting book to me I really like if now.

The book I am reading currently is titled Lockdown Escape From Furnace by Alexander Gordon Smith. this book is more of a thriller and is interesting because it is more of a book that fits my type of interests. It keeps me on the edge of my seats as many unexpected things unravel to the protagonist Alex after his best friend Toby was murdered in one of their attemped robberies. I am still looking forward to read on as the story continues and plan on getting the second book once i am finished

Im only reading Touching Spirit Bear at the moment. At first i didnt like the book, so I didnt really read it. But I forced myself to catch up and read the book. But as I started to read I realize that I like the book. Its better than I thought it would be. Some parts are gross like where he eats the mouse, live. Ewww, but other than that its a good book.

I have been reading Lemonade Mouth and the third book in the Maximum Ride series "Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports".Lemonade Mouth was different from the movie, but it was fun finding the parts in the book that they made Disney appropriate. The Maximum Ride series on the other hand was great i really liked them. I pretty much loved every thing about them, the chase, the fights, the family, and the sarcasm. I would really recommend them both, for seeing how Lemonade Mouth was meant to be and Maximum Ride for a fast paced action novel.

I am currently reading the book The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan. It is about a kid named Carter Kane who realizes that his family is from a long line of magicians, but these are not your average man or woman in a black suit pulling rabbits out of hat. They are spellbinders who use magic to solve problems. I am only a few chapters into the book, but i would reccomend it to anyone

Its really intense and amazing, also a part from the book is where they are in the gymnasium and they were about to continue there machine that was going to help rescue them but the snow ontop of the gym crushed the ceiling and they have to run out before the snow englufed them. I like to read action, mystery, horror, and comedy books.

One of the books I read over the summer was "Of Mice and Men" it is about two men who are looking for a job at a farm. One of these men is a tall and strong man but he isn't smart, the other man is small and scrawny but is smart. When they find a job something horrible happens which then leads to the death of a character. In my opinion this is a great book that will touch the hearts of many people.

I am reading in a heartbeat. its about a girl who had a heart transplant and that she has the old persons heart living still in her, and that she is having actions from the girl inside her. and I am also reading TSB. i dont like it that much because the flashbacks are confusing.

Over the summer the two books I read that were the most important are Artemis Fowl and Shift. They are great books. The arthours of these books have a way with words. There descriptions are very descriptive, but no to the point were it was boring. The plot of the two books realy suck you in and the end of most of the chapters arecliff hangers wich make you want to keep reading.
