Garvey and Edwin's Lessons - F Block
Garvey and Edwin explained that many events on the island would teach Cole something about himself. Of the various lessons that Cole learned, (through the soaking pool, ancestor rock, animal sightings, and nightly dances) which do you think were most significant to Cole changing? Justify your answers with evidence from the text. Please use proper spelling and grammar. No text speak.

No* and that was for Emily(:
I didn't put quotations around the word friend. Did I?
Nick-
Well your cat may debate but have you PERSONALLY learned anything from them?
I aggree Emily, Peter didn't have to beat Cole. I think he needs the circle justice not as a victim, but as an offender.
Emiloy i completley agree with you, it was not necassery for Peter to start beating up Cole, I didnt get that!
Victoria when he returns than he will know if he really changed inside :)
i like your point ms.sullivan, it sounded like Garvey
Nick...are you saying your cat dances the squirrel dance?! And Andre...you're a tad lost(: read the comments before.
Victoria! That was my point in class the other day! It just distracts him from his anger it doesnt take it away!
Esteice, you're right that Cole currently seems like a better person than Peter, but think about where Cole was when he first started the healing process. Peter is just beginning his healing. It's taken Cole over a year to get where he is now.
Esteice I kind of agree, but, if some kid beat the poop out of you like until you BLED and had SEVERE damage done to you, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be like OHH IT'S FINE NO PROBLEM HUN! You'd be pretty peeved, I mean maybe I'm just a stubborn person but I don't think I would have given Cole a chance to show me he's changed, I'd just want him in jail forever.
Andre you didnt put Quotes around the word friend, i just saw that post. (:
Yeah I have
Victoria, I think he's just going to have to find other ways to get rid of his anger when he returns home.
Which is?
THE END. <333 TOUCHING SPIRIT BEAR. :DDD
Victoria I think it will be really hard for him to stay like the way he is on the island now but I don't think he will go back to his old ways because he learned to look on the happy side of things.
Elena, Exactly! So wont this have been a waste if he returns and just gets angry again?
Laura I mean from what I have seen they put up a pretty good argument
the book had a bad end!
Well Mrs.Sullivan thats true but Cole learned a lot just by the dances he did. I dont know if a squirrel would teach him much.
Wrapping it all up. I still think the most important thing was the dances. And Maddie is still my friend (:
AGREED, ALLY. I WAS SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED.
Well Eric, i dont know what Cole should do everyday, my point was that he will be mad when he leaves the island, i have no clue how to help that kid!
