A book I reccomend is Petey by Ben Mikaelsen. This book is about a man with a brain problem. His parents send him to a mental asylum. When a boy named Calvin was walking home from school he saw some kids from school bullying Petey. Calvin goes over there and saves Calvin. Later on in the story it shows how people make fun of you by your apperence and don't pay attention to your personality. I reccomend this book to everyone... i don't really know who but this book is AWESOMMEEE !!!
well because i just thought in the beggining that this kid is just stupid and i was getting tired of hearing the same thing cole did this cole did that then when he started to change he was somone that i would rather be a friend with then alot of people

Eileen, what makes this such a good book, do you think? Is it the characters, the plot, the writing?
the reason i reccomended this book is because it shows how you can be friends with a mute person and you can learn a lot from them.
also the story itself is something that makes you wonder all the time what Petey is learning throughtout the story

it was cool at the begining but at the end it got all mushy gooshy my favorite part was when he mauled by the bear and urs was
well i think that the beggining was alright but i think the end was the best cuz it kinda inspired me
